Stella 9-Light Chandelier
Let me narrate to you the circumstances by which my husband and I acquired the Kichler Lighting 42213CH Stella 9-Light Chandelier, Chrome with Satin-Etched Cased Opal Glass.
Six months ago, a devastating tornado ended up tearing the roof of our home. Those terrible winds took along with it a precious chandelier that belonged to my great grandmother. During the process of rebuilding our home, it was my husband’s suggestion that we buy a new chandelier with the money that we received from the insurance company (being a prized heirloom, we have also had that old chandelier insured). While it will not replace what I had lost, the next fixture will symbolize a fresh start for us. It was my decision to find the new chandelier for our home, and I wanted it to be completely different from Grandma’s light fixture.
The Kichler Lighting 42213CH Stella 9-Light Chandelier, Chrome with Satin-Etched Cased Opal Glass that I selected totally did not resemble the chandelier that we had lost in the tornado. In fact, my husband had remarked that it did not look like a chandelier at all when I showed him the picture. His opinion changed, however, when the chandelier was shipped to our home.
Now, how should I describe the Kichler Lighting Stella 9-Light Chandelier? I must admit that the reason why I was attracted to it was because the chandelier kind of reminded me of the gorgeous sails of the Sydney Opera House.
Each of the 9 candelabra base lamps comes with gorgeous satin etched cased opal glass in smooth oval shapes. It is supported by a graceful arching chandelier base with a glossy chrome finish. The chandelier is big too, with a body height of 25 inches and width of 26.5 inches (the overall height is 63 inches). It also comes with 85-inches of extra lead wire for convenient connection.
In fact, installing the Kichler Lighting Stella 9-Light Chandelier to our new living room ceiling proved to be very easy for my husband. Although the chandelier comes with nine 60W incandescent candelabra bulbs, my hubby opted to use krypton candelabra bulbs, not only for a brighter, stunning glow, but also to help us conserve energy. Because the fixture has a full 45 degree stem tilt, light can be focused to every part of the room.
In the end, my husband and I decided to buy other chandeliers in Kichler Lighting’s Stella Collection, not only to match with out beautiful Stella 9-Light Chandelier, but also to create an entirely new look for our home.
Don’t let tragedy prevent you from regaining the lost beauty of your home. Instead, give your home a stunning facelift with the Kichler Lighting 42213CH Stella 9-Light Chandelier, Chrome with Satin-Etched Cased Opal Glass
