Greater Washington Fashion Chamber of Commerce- Fashion Census Final Report

Publish Date: September 2009; Description: Over 80 fashion and fashion related businesses let their  voices be heard loud and clear, by taking GWFCC's historic Fashion Census. The Fashion Census is the first fashion based market research study to take place in the DC metro area. The goal of the Fashion Census was to try and accurately survey the needs of the fashion and retail industry in Washington, D.C. Publish Date: October 2009; Description: The purpose of the GWFCC resource guide is to provide an up to date, comprehensive list of business resources and fashion industry professionals in Washington, DC and the surrounding metropolitan area. Knowledge is power and by compiling and sharing critical information, GWFCC hopes to further fuel the growth of the local fashion industry. This resource guide is divided into two parts:  Part I- RESOURCES: List helpful resources for emerging and existing fashion entrepreneurs.  Listed resources include organizations, books, websites and other web-based resources.  Part II- DIRECTORY: Includes listings for local fashion designers, industry professionals, fabric stores, suppliers, photographers, image consultants, fashion stylists, business professionals and independent retailers.
